Gateway runway at Nigt
Connecting Global Markets to Nigeria’s Industrial Hub

Secure, efficient, and strategically located. Providing the infrastructure necessary to facilitate trade.

Elevating the Standard of Air Travel

Our location just outside Lagos offers a key advantage for international carriers seeking efficient operations. We provide a viable and less-congested alternative for passenger and cargo flights, leveraging shared airspace and robust ATC services to ensure operational smoothness and accessibility.

Cargo Operations

Our facility boasts robust infrastructure, featuring dual 2,000m² dedicated import and export warehouses designed for efficient freight forwarding and logistics specialization. Strategically situated within a key industrial corridor, we are equipped to handle diverse cargo types, with expertise in processing time-sensitive goods, agricultural exports, and high-value manufactured products from the surrounding industrial base.

Runways

Our airport features a robust, high-capacity asphalt runway measuring 3,400 meters in length and 45 meters in width. These dimensions meet and exceed the requirements for Code 4F operations and cat 9 aerodrome rescue and firefighting capability, ensuring we can safely and efficiently accommodate all large commercial and heavy wide-body aircraft, including the Boeing 747 and Airbus A380.

Regulatory Compliance

Gateway International Airport is in full compliance with the Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations Nig.CARs 2023. It was granted an Aerodrome Operational Permit by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority on September 3, 2025, authorizing scheduled commercial air transport services
