
President Bola Tinubu, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, and Senate President Godswill Akpabio have praised Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun for his development efforts, particularly the launch of the Gateway International Airport in Iperu-Ilishan.
At the inauguration, Tinubu commended Abiodun’s leadership, noting his commitment to infrastructure, economic growth, and effective use of federal allocations. He described the airport and other projects as key to boosting investment, transportation, and national development.
Obasanjo also hailed the airport as a landmark achievement, highlighting its convenience and impact on travel, while describing the occasion as historic for Ogun State.
In his remarks, Abiodun credited Tinubu’s economic reforms for improving investor confidence and positioning Nigeria for growth. He outlined his administration’s achievements, including road construction, housing projects, healthcare improvements, and the launch of Gateway Airline, all aimed at strengthening the state’s economy and connectivity.
